Valda was once one of the Country Bumpkin Group.

She has since made a number of appearances at the Adelaide CM Club.

Valda is also in a duo 'Citrus Sisters' with Fran Wanders. They have been singing together for 4 years at various festivals, dances and private parties using backingb tracks singing country music and rock (from Roma Sampson Oct 2008)
