Along the way they’ve embraced various styles, including Bulgarian, Celtic, Jazz, Blues, Gypsy, contemporary folk and originals, and had a lot of fun! What started as a musical “experiment” for Kim, Dee and Emma- to arrange tunes and songs with just three fiddles and voice (and shed their “bands”!), has resulted in the creation of three inspired and entertaining Fiddle Chicks! They were awarded ‘Most outstanding Emerging act’, and Emma was voted ‘Most outstanding instrumentalist’ at SA Folk awards ’06.
